New Moon

I know this shouldn't be a big deal but to me it is. I finished New Moon today, we got it last Thursday night, I wasn't as absorbed in it as much as Twilight but I say that is due to the fast that Edward wasn't in it much. Im glad they left the end to where I dont need to go get the next book, Im going through it so fast which is totally weird to me I havent read many books and I cant make myself put it down.

Painting fun

We have discovered that Konnor loves to paint. He doesnt mind painting himself one bit unlike Keegan who has issues with it on his hands even. Sadly this night Keegan missed all the fun, he was a little busy with private issues. Konnor on the other hand had a blast he painted with one brush in each hand. He painted the wall, the floor, the table, his paper and himself very well.

As you can see Konnor painted all that is in front of him on the page the other side was Keegans.

And heres Keegan saying um I got some of this on my hand what do I do.

Konnors close up of his handy work.

I painted Keegan to see what he did and he freaked out.

Im trying to change the way I trained him so he will think its fun to make messes sometimes if its ok with mom first. Im a little paranoid about messes, sorry boys when dads around he wrangles me back in to stop me and let yall have fun.

5 year Anniversary Today

This is a wedding tag I saw on a friends blog.
1. When were you married? Saturday, August 23, 2003
2. Where did you get married? Portland Temple
3. Who proposed and how? After only 2 weeks of dating we knew we loved each other and would get married. We had already done a little planning before the proposal. He waited till the day my dad came to take me home for the summer. The three of us were at dinner and he asked my dad right in front of me, which was no shock to dad. When he had arrived I took him straight to the dress shop to get my dress. He proposed the next morning in his apartment living room, he had the ring tied to a rose and knelt down and wala, we were engaged.
4. What was the favorite part of your wedding day? The look on my dads face when he had to let me go with my new hubby and having our friends and family there with us.
5. What would you change if you could? Having not had someone hit my car the day before, it kinda put a dent in the day.
6. What were your colors? Navy blue and silver
7. Do you remember any good advice you were given: Never go to bed angry with each other.
8. Were you clean or messy with your wedding cake? We were pretty clean, only got cake on our faces not on our clothes.
9. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Sorry to say we didnt have a honeymoon we went straight to school.
10. What's your favorite thing about being married? Knowing that we will always have someone there for us and our amazing boys.

Pictures to come later our scanner is on the fritz

So I finally got on the TWILIGHT bandwagon

After the sad news that they decide to push the release date of the Harry Potter movie back to next summer I decided ok well I guess I can read the Twilight book before the movie comes out Nov 21st. Oh yeah they took the spot Harry Potter left. On Monday I was strolling through Target all by my lonesome, which is rare. And I went by the book/movie section and right on the front isle was the first and last Twilight books so I grabbed the first one. Im not much of a reader I have to admit I think the only books that Ive read were required by school but only if I couldnt fake my way by and of course my beloved Harry Potter books.

So here are my stats.
  • Book bought late Monday night. Read first two chapters. Thought hum I think I could get into this book its a real easy read.
  • Tuesday read from chapter 3 to chapter 15. I know I was shocked to I just fell right into it.
  • Wednesday um read chapters 16 to oh um yeah the end. Ok it was really strange to me how I just couldn't put this book down.
And of course there are three more books to the series so not to bad. But Im not so sure I like how addicted I got. I'm planning on getting book 2 this weekend cause really I'm hooked its sad to say.

The Boys First Sleepover

So last Saturday my nephews came to town to play with the kids and Sunday my mom called to say they were all sleeping over at her house and if we wanted to sleep over that would be fun. So Monday after Konnors first nap we headed to gma's house we were there till Tues night, I waited till after traffic so the boys would also fall asleep so i wouldnt have to stress and fight nighttime. We had lots of fun we painted played basketball outside, swam, went to the duck pond and played in the rain at the park.
Here is a slide show of our fun.

So You Think You Can Dance!

Oh yeah! I totally called that Joshua was going to be the winner! I love it! He was our favorite dancer. The first week we picked our top 4 and 3 of them were finalists. I love it that an untrained dancer won. It totally shows that as the judge who said street in every comment she made said it (dancing comes through the heart out and not outward in) by the way that judge drove us crazy.

From their first dance we knew they would make it all the way so here it is.

Ok so I know Mark wasnt in top 4 but man alive I love this dance. Courtney looks innocent and beautiful in all her dances but this one makes her look hot, dirty and sexy.

Twitchington, we thought these 2 were both for sure in top 4 but Kherington lost it at the end, she just looked tired.

We have found our new summer favorite show.
