Poor Konnor. Tonight we were having ice cream and Konnor was standing holding my knees when all of a sudden. He let go and fell. He hit his little mouth right on the fireplace. Ok so we have those pads that go on the edges of the fireplace so its soft, well umm, there is about 1/4th of the fireplace that doesnt have any. We needed more than one package and we just hadnt gotten around to getting more. Well that is exactly where he hit poor guy. He screamed for about five minutes then was fine. Needless to say after he calmed down we all got in the car and went straight to target to get another pack of pads for the fireplace. He is such a cute happy kid. I seriously thought he would have a hard time, especially since he is a paci kid but he did great. His big lip sits funny with the paci but he still wants to suck on it. It only makes a funny noise now.
He was all smiles and playful this evening even with a busted lip.

I won't report this one to child services, but next time... Just kidding. Anything that doesn't kill them will only make them stronger. Too bad it was only on his lip; hopefully next time it will be somewhere that leaves a good scar to show off when he is older.

What a trooper he is!! I'm impressed that he did so well!! Cam would still be pointing it out for days...let's just say sometimes he can be a bit of a drama king. He doesn't get that from his mother at all...
